Introduction
Hi there my name is Jordan, and I am here to give you information about the corona virus and why it's dangerous.
Point 1
It originated in one of Wuhan's meat markets where they usually sell bats, birds, rats, dogs, and etc.
Corona-virus can travel through the air by people coughing, sneezing and spitting, so it's really easy to catch this Corona-virus. The way it affects people is by travelling through our mouth it starts off by having a fever or a cough then it starts making its way down our lungs filling every air pocket in the lungs with puss that’s why you start struggling to breath most people need a ventilator when the lungs get filled with pus.
Point 2
When it came to New Zealand there was only 1 case that had corona for a while till it spread to a couple more cases and it kept spreading so lock down started and that went on for 7 weeks, if lock down didn't happen thousands of people would of died or gotten infected by the corona-virus there is so far 1,154 confirmed cases in New Zealand and so far 22 deaths but the world wide cases is 6.8 million confirmed cases and 397 thousand deaths.
Point 3
So far there hasn't been any found of an antidote for this Corona Virus and Antibiotics do not treat it so people have to just let it be and see if it goes away. The only thing that can help you at least stay safe from the Corona Virus is an air ventilator or mask. However the scientists in NZ are working hard out trying to find a vaccine for this killer disease.
Point 4
At this time NZ is one of the few places in the world that is free from corona virus.
We still have to be careful at our borders to make sure that new cases don't come in.
For example the avatar crew came through they are in isolation for 2 weeks until its been proven it is safe and they won't infect us.
Point 5
We have been so successful in isolating this deadly disease that we are now thinking of having a bubble with some parts of Australia E.G. Tasmania Which is that little island south of Australia. And the Cook Islands who want us to have holidays there and spend money because their going broke because there hasn't been any tourists and we usually spend 200 million a year over there.
